Adult Training

Adult volunteers are at the heart of Scouting in Crosby and we hope that you will get every bit as much out of it as you put in. Scouting is not only about young people, but also about the development of adults within the Movement.

To support adults there is a comprehensive programme of training to build on existing skills and knowledge and develop new competencies.

Our training is delivered in two ways: Online learning and face-to-face (currently online).

Getting Started: These are online and you complete them at your own pace, these are covered in the first 5 months of your appointment. When you have completed them please talk to your training Advisor. Modules covered are:

Essential Information (01), Safety, Safeguarding, GDPR, Trustee Information, Tools for the Role (Section Leaders-03) / Tools for Role (Managers & Supporters - 04)

Further training:

Merseyside Scouts run training for all volunteers (see links below depending on your role).
